While DC’s New 52 has had a fair few higher profile crossover events, this one (which is really more of a cross-through than cross-over) went underneath the radar and largely unnoticed. Which is a shame, because it’s well worth reading through every part of it.
Notes:
- Set in the Middle Ages, none of these three issues is bannered as a part of the crossover, but they mark the earliest appearance of the Black Diamond and its sinister effects.
- Set in the late 19th Century, and not bannered as part of the crossover, but features the next (chronological) appearance of the Black Diamond and leads directly into the story.
- Follows on directly from the previous issue of All Star Western.
- Set approximately five years ago, and not bannered as part of the crossover, but features Team 7 being assembled and assigned the mission that will lead them into the story.
- Follows on directly from the previous issue of Team 7.
- Set in the present day.
- Set in the present day and not bannered as part of the crossover, but details the origins of Eclipso and the Black Diamond.
