Not to be confused with the earlier event with almost exactly the same name, Avengers: Standoff! is one of the first crossover events of the post-Secret Wars era of the “All-New, All-Different” Marvel Universe. It’s also a vital plot piece that’s foundational to Nick Spencer’s later Secret Empire crossover event.
